Once more Africa...

A wonderful warm day, we would call that a summerday, brings our tour to a close. A three hour boat tour on the Kafue and Zambesi Rivers gives us a feeling of freedom and open land and takes us once more close to the fascinating fauna of the African continent.

Into the boats and onto the Zambesi - engage!

The Zambesi near Lower Zambesi National Park -
nature all around us

After that we are just lazy. We really deserve it after the strenuous and dusty tour.

Sunset at Kafue River ...

... and a two-day-old Moon.

With a wonderfully trashy sunset and colourful dusk with crescent Moon, our last day ends. We use the exceptionally clear evening to say goodbye to the southern sky. For the last time we watch this beautiful region of the sky until late at night. Observation report in German: click here..
